2Days Bahir Dar Lake Tana and Blue Nile falls
Day 1: Flight to Bahir Dar – Lake Tana – Boat Ride – Island Monasteries
Flight to Bahir Dar (0700-0800 or 0810-1010). Welcome by our guide and minivan for airport transfer. Check into a hotel (if rooms are ready).
Drive to Lake Tana, take a boat ride & visit to the medieval period island monasteries (Azua Mariam & Ura Kidane Mihret: beautiful mural paintings, religious books & sacred) on Lake Tana.
Day 2: Blue Nile Fall – Flight to Addis
Breakfast at the hotel. Drive to and visit to the Blue Nile Fall (some 30 Km). Return to Bahir Dar. Visit the colorful local market. Time lunch break Transfer to the airport for a flight back to Addis (1710-1810 or 1820-1920).
